A total of eight players took part in the Champion of Champions Singles last Saturday (31 October) at Silverstream. Qualifying was in two pools of four where the top two got through for the trophy.
The final featured Tony Simpson (Wanganui East) and Dave Gatchell (Horowhenua). In a close game, Tony won 13-11. Kevin McFadgen claimed 3rd place.

A total of seven teams took part in the Champion of Champions Doubles last Saturday (7 November) at Wanganui. Ann Hogg and Dave Gatchell (Horowhenua) retained their title.
Annick Le Guen and Steve Frampton (Kapiti) finished in second place. Dene Futcher and Paul Anderson (Wanganui) claimed third place.

A total of 48 people took part in the Charles Fleming Memorial Mêlée last Sunday (15 November) at Kapiti. This year the trophy was taken out by Judy Tyree from Horowhenua with 5 wins +45. The final results were:

27 teams took part in the Pete Hamilton Triples last weekend (21-22 November) at Wanganui. The Trophy final featured Ann Hogg/Graeme Morris/Dave Gatchell and Murray Porter/Lee Taffard/Moises Burgos. Murray, Lee and Moises won 13-7.
The Plate final was won by Sharon Cannon/Michael Emerson/Ian Baker over Trish Biddle-Amoroa/Dave Nicholls/Mataamua Biddle-Amoroa-Nicholls 13-9.
The Bowl final was won by Vicki Cox/Andrea Thompson/Tony Mudgway over Tony Simpson/Louise Rose/Kerry Gillam.
