Regional Seedings

Explanation

A Player's seeding is based on their results from the Regional Singles, Doubles, Triples and Mixed Doubles Championships. Points are awarded to a player depending on where they finish in a tournament.

Players accumulate the points from each tournament.

Seeding points are awarded as follows: 1st = 6 points; 2nd = 5 points; Top 4 = 4 points; Top 8 = 3 points; Top 16 = 2 points; Top 32 = 1 point 1.

The Current Seeding is based on tournament results from the last two years. As the points from one tournament is added, so the points gained in the respective tournament two years prior is removed.

This method ensures that the current form of players is reflected in the seeding points.
