About Pétanque Wellington

Pétanque Wellington (also known as the Wellington Pétanque Association) is the co-ordinating body for the game of Pétanque in the Wellington region. The region stretches from Wellington city in the south through to Whanganui in the west, across to Palmerston North and over to Masterton in the east.

Pétanque Wellington is an Association of ten clubs comprising over 350 registered players. Contact information for the region's clubs can be found on the above menu.

The Wellington region is arguably the best organised in the country, with regular regional and inter-club competitions and many social events.  (See both the Calendar and Upcoming events pages.)

Pétanque Wellington also coordinates coaching, umpiring and promotional activities within the Region. Pétanque Wellington is financed by a small capitation fee from all club members.
