WPA Committee Meeting to be held on Thursday, 15 September 2016 at the Silverstream Pétanque club, Dunns Street, Silverstream.

The meeting will start at 7:30 pm.

      I note from the latest WPA minutes that the above matter was discussed and the rule stated: the hosts are encouraged to provide lunch/refreshments to the challengers at the conclusion of the match.

      This rule as it stands refers to the previous situation when the holders always played at home and has not been amended since the matches have been the subject of a home/away draw.

      Therefore, I believe that the words the challengers should be replace by the visitors or some other appropriate words.
