Matters Arising

  1. Minutes should read "Shooting competition was not held due to the WPA meeting", rather than the bad weather.

Correspondence

Inwards

A discussion was then held and as this decision was originally voted in by delegates, it was decided to go back to all Clubs and ask what they want. Kevin is to write a letter to be distributed and a response requested.

Outwards

None.

Treasurer's Report

Reasonably quiet time at present. Some tournament fees in and costs out. Acceptamce moved by Kevin, seconded by Doc.

The organisation is in a strong financial position and some discussion was held around what to do with the extra funds held. Kevin to send some suggested ideas out to Clubs for discussion.

The report was issued to all Clubs prior to the meeting. It was noted that numbers are down this year for the Senior Doubles.

Umpires Report

No report received.

General Business

Complaints Policy

An amendment request was received from the Manawatu Club. Kevin is to alter the wording of the Policy and reissue.

Unlicensed Players

Khandallah Club proposes that the penalty for a club that fields a non-licensed player is to forfeit all points obtained each time a non-licensed player takes part. Proposal moved by Kevin, seconded by Claire. Carried.

Branding and use of WPA Logo

A suggestion was made that we run a competition, open to anyone, to design a new logo for the WPA. If anyone has a graphic designer in their club, or a family member or friend with these skills, watch this space.

Clause 9.3 of the Constitution - period of tenure for the President
