- Setting of Affiliation Fees
That affiliation fees for the 2017-18 year be:
- Junior (under 23) member $2
- Life member $0
- Open/Senior member $2
Payment of affiliation fees to be as follows:
- To be paid on Club membership as at 31 August 2017, by 15 September (in time for the Regional Singles);
- To be paid for new members as at January 2018, by 16 February 2018 (in time for the Regional Triples).
Note: a new member in 2) is anyone who was not covered in 1), whether they have been a member of the club previously or not.

- WPA Regional Coach - Reimbursement of Expenses
At the February committee meeting it was agreed to put the below motion to the AGM.
That the WPA Regional Coach be reimbursed up to $100 for travelling expenses per training day for the WPA Regional representative squad. The reimbursement is to be capped at $500 per year.
- Tournament Entry fees and Expense payments 2017-18
If the motion regarding the WPA Coach expenses reimbursement is not passed then entry fees for 2017-18 will be the same as 2016-17.
If the motion is passed:
- The below tournament entry fees for 2017-18 will be increased:
- Regional Singles - $30 per player
- Regional Doubles - $60 per team
- Regional Triples - $90 per team
- Regional Women's Singles - $15 per player
- Regional Senior Doubles - $30 per team
- Regional Inter-club - $60 per four person team
- WPA Women's Doubles - $30 per team
- WPA Women's Triples & WPA Open Triples - $45 per team
- The below tournament entry fees for 2017-18 will stay the same:
- Champion of Champions - Singles and Shooting Competition - $5 per player
- Champion of Champions - Doubles - $10 per team
- Champion of Champions - Triples - $15 per team
- The below payments will remain the same:
- WPA Committee meeting room hire - $20 per meeting
- WPA Tournament terrain hire
- Under 30 participants - $30 per day
- Between 31 and 60 participants - $60 per day
- Over 60 participants - $90 per day
- Inter-region matches - $60 per day
- Representative squad training - $20 per day
- Non-playing Umpire - $20 per day
- Regional Coach - $20 per tournament day
- Return of Savings to Clubs
That the WPA return a sum of $300 to each of the affiliated clubs.
The WPA has $21,000 in various savings accounts. At present there is no requirement to continue to keep this money. It is felt that better use of the money could be made by the clubs themselves.
- Life Membership
The award of Life Membership is the highest honour the WPA can bestow on an individual. It is conferred on those who have made an exceptional contribution to the existence and advancement of the organisation.
The WPA Committee has great pleasure in proposing Gwen Hill (Kapiti) and Jack Gazzard (Kapiti) for Life Membership.
