Pétanque Wellington - Regional Awards 2013-14
The Regional Awards are an opportunity to celebrate the best in Wellington Pétanque, both on and off the piste.
Rules and Conditions of Entry
- Performance by nominees will only be considered when they have occurred in the qualifying period (1 May 2013 to 30 April 2014). Nominees under consideration for the awards must meet the criteria under (a) and (b) below:
- Through membership of a pétanque club affiliated to Pétanque Wellington during the qualifying period
- Through residency in the Pétanque Wellington region during the qualifying period
- Nominations will be accepted from Clubs and individual members.
- Nominations close at 9:00 pm, Tuesday, 20 May 2013.

- The winner(s) of each category, except Personality of the Year, will be selected by a panel of Pétanque Wellington members convened by Michael Rocks. No panel member will be eligible for nomination for any award. The panel's decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The winner of the Personality of the Year will be the person or persons who receive the most votes cast by members of Pétanque Wellington. A list of nominees will be published on the Pétanque Wellington website and circulated to Clubs on Wednesday, 21 May and voting will close at 9:00 pm, Sunday, 8 June 2014.
- The Award winners will be announced at the Pétanque Wellington Annual General Meeting on Saturday, 14 June 2014.
