Fifty-six players are taking part in the 2015 National Singles Championship at Horowhenua. This is the largest entry for several years.
Day one qualifying was 6 rounds with a time limit of 1 hour, plus 2 ends if required. Due to the number of entries, three games had to wait for a free piste for each round.
At the conclusion of Saturday's play, Georgio Vakauta was the only undefeated player with 6 wins. The top 16 players qualified for the Trophy section, the next 16 for the Plate and the remaining 24 players will take part in the Consolante.
