New Zealand has finished in third place at the Oceania Championships held in Noumea, New Caledonia.

New Zealand has also qualified for the 2012 World Championships along with Tahiti and Vanuatu.

Windy Hills defaulted their challenge match against Upper Hutt due to a lack of players. Upper Hutt will defend the cup against Horowhenua.

Maurice Belz and Ron Sandilands have won the Hawke's Bay Classic Doubles for the second year in a row. In the final they beat Denise Bavidge and Geoff Greer.

Twelve teams took part in the second National Women's Triples Championship.
Yvonne Futcher, Barbara Johnston and Christine Strichen won the first National Championship of the 2010-11 season after overcoming the appalling weather that saw the tournament halted for a period on Saurday due to flooding at the Manawatu terrain.

Rex Hayes (Kapiti) won the first Regional Championship of the season. In the final he beat Doug Hay (Masterton).
The Plate was won by Andrew Joe (Windy Hills) from Kath Alison (Kapiti) and Claire Bradburn (Silverstream) took out the Consolante.
