Six teams entered the Champion of Champions (Triples) played at Otaki and the home team of Barbara Frampton, Brian Frampton and Joan Judd were undefeated in winning the title.

Otaki successfully defended the Jacques Cochonnet Challenge Trophy they won last month when they played away at Horowhenua.

Andre Noel, Charles Peni and Georgio Vakauta gained revenge for their first day loss by defeating the first day top seeds Christian Fouquet, David Lippard and Lee Taffard 13-5 in the final to win the National Triples Championship in Rotorua.

The below players have been selected for the Southern Tri-Star (Senior) competition to be played in Wellington (Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 May).

All players need to make themselves available for training a camp on 15/16 May at Masterton (TBC).
Prior to the Training Camp players are encouraged to meet with others in a similar location for informal training. Bring training logbooks and contributions to travelling fund (gold coin per session) to the Training Camp.

Last year's Divisional champions retained their respective titles after the final day's play at Kapiti.
In Division One, Park Avenue beat Otaki 18-13 in the final, while in Division Two Wanganui East beat Upper Hutt.

Elizabeth and Michael Rocks won the inaugural Khandallah Open Mixed Doubles. In the final they beat Ted Burr and Margaret Mordecai (Otaki).

The 2009 Wellington-Hawke's Bay match results and Coach's report are now available. Played on December 13 last year, Wellington beat Hawke's Bay 25-23 to reclaim the Haines Cup.

The dates for the 2010 Open World Championship in Taipei this year have been put back three weeks and will now take place on Thursday 30 September to 3 October.
