How to play Progressive Pétanque

Overview

Progressive Pétanque can be played as either Singles, Doubles or Triples.

Rules

• Team A draws a circle and throws the cochonnet. They then throw one boule.
• Team B throws one boule.
• Team A throws two boules. Team B throws two boules.
• In Doubles or Triples, Team A throws their remaining three boules. Team B throws three boules.
• It is the team's discretion whether they point, shoot or which player throws the boule each turn.
• Scoring of points is done as normal. The game is won by the first team to score 13 points. The team that wins the end starts the next end.
