The second annual Wellington Hawke's Bay inter-region match was played in Palmerston North in perfect early summer conditions - wind, rain and a southerly storm.
After the Singles round, Wellington emerged with a narrow four point lead. The margin was increased to sixteen points following a convincing round of Doubles.
In the first round of Triples, Hawke's Bay clawed back 10 points, but the margin was restored in the Reverse Triples.
