Treasurer’s Report

The Treasurer’s Report has been distributed. There was a shortfall as a lot of invoices had to be paid. Michael also asked that players be more specific when paying entry fees.

Tournaments

Graeme reported that the Tri Star went well although they did not win they were very close. The triples performed well on the first day and they were not far behind at the end of the tournament. Southern did a very good job hosting.

There were 24 teams at the Senior Doubles which was held on the 23rd November, all went well and there are 16 teams competing on the 10th December at Otaki.

PNZ Training for Tournaments

Judith spoke about the training which was held at Kapiti and she found this very informative and Graeme also got some good ideas out of it.

Umpiring

Four people have done the umpiring training.

All running well.

General Business

Incorporated Societies Act and the Constitution, work still to be done.

Silverstream would like to purchase the WPA circles that are being held at Otaki. It was moved that Silverstream purchase 16 circles at $10 each.

The Polo Shirts that have been used over the years are no longer being manufactured. It was moved that the shirts that are used by PNZ be the replacement shirts.

Club Reports

Manawatu

Not many to club days. Club membership going up.

Horowhenua

Christmas Party last night. Good turnout on club days.

NaeNae

Club Christmas Party on Sat 10th, 35 people attending. A couple of new members.

Wanganui East

Ticking along. Had 29 teams at the Pete Hamilton Memorial Triples.

Masterton

Christmas lunch on 9th. Club Doubles recently. Hosting Charity Tournament on 4th February and have 22 entries so far. Club will be holding Open Triples on 25th February. Good number on club days.

Kapiti

Been busy with Senior and National Senior Doubles. Christmas BBQ next weekend.

Otaki

Open Triples on 10th December and New Year Melee on 7th January.

Silverstream

Probably lost 3 members but possibly gained 4. It's free for the first year. Have held the Club Doubles since the last meeting.

Claire thanked everyone for their work throughout the year and wished all a Merry Christmas.
