Tournament Sub-Committee Report

There had been two events since the last meeting which were the Interclub and the WPA Regional Triples.

The new format for the Interclub was well received by players and clubs would be asked for their comments about the format. It was agreed that this same format be used for the next three years.

The WPA Regional Tournament was a one day event and because of covid one player had to withdraw so there was a bye. The one day event seemed to be well received.

There are only 5 entries for the doubles and singles C of C Tournaments to be held early April. Six entries are required to run these events. Claire offered to run and Umpire the event. Michael to contact her about it.

Covid: There has been a change in the Government settings and it was agreed that for the next few tournaments vaccine passes would be required and it was a requirement set out on the Entry Forms.
