WPA Regional Doubles Championship
21 October 2024
Twenty six pairs took part in the WPA Regional Doubles over two days, Saturday and Sunday 19-20 October 2024 at Kapiti.
Superb talent was on display, both with young and more experienced players. Pétanque has a rosy future. Thanks to all who took part in what was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend for both spectators and players alike.
Special mention to Clive Williams (Naenae), the umpire for the weekend. He did issue some yellow cards but the names are suppressed to protect the guilty! No orange nor reds though but Clive was kept busy on his knees measuring.
