Steve Frampton

28 February 2024

It is with immense sadness that I advise Wellington Pétanque Clubs that Steve Frampton passed away today (Wednesday 28 February).

Steve had transferred from Wellington Hospital to the Mary Potter Hospice a week and a half ago.

On behalf of Wellington Pétanque, I have passed on our condolences to Brian and his family.

Those who knew Steve well will know that he was a very private person and as per his wishes his funeral will be family only.

Steve will leave a huge void in both Kapiti Pétanque and Wellington Pétanque.

On a personal note, I will miss Steve very much, both as a friend, a team member and as a tough competitor on the piste.
