Wanganui East's first defence was against Silverstream at their home turf on Saturday, 2nd September 2023.
Silverstream won the singles 3-0 and the doubles 2-1. In the triples Wanganui East won 2-1. This gave Silverstream an overall win of 6-3.
Silverstream's first defence is away against Kapiti.

Twenty six teams participated in the Rex Hayes Memorial Mixed Doubles on Saturday the 9th September 2023 at Kapiti. Winners of the trophy were Michael Rocks & Michelle Maxwell. Runners up Brett Maguire & Cheryl Juno.

Thirty two teams participated in the WPA Mixed Doubles at Horowhenua on Saturday 16th September.
Winners of the Trophy were Michelle Maxwell & Lee Tafford. Runners up were Christine Daykin & Alan Taylor. 3= Te Wai Haa Rangi Biddle-Amoroa & Moises Burgos & 3= Wendy Lawson & Bill Ray.

Twenty teams participated in the WPA Regional Doubles Championship at Kapiti on Saturday 23 September and Sunday 24 September.
Winners of the trophy were Annick Le Guen and Kevin McFadgen. Runners up were Christine Strichen and Claire Wilson. Third equal were Te Wai Haa Rangi Biddle-Amoroa & Moises Burgos & Michelle Maxwell and Sharon Cannon.
