Khandallah Winter Triples

Twelve teams took part in the third Khandallah Winter Triples.
The first four rounds were used to rank the teams to determine the opponent for the fifth and most important game, with the winners receiving wine and the losers Whittakers chocolate.
Otaki's third Jacques Cochonnet Trophy defence was against Wanganui East on Saturday, 12 August 2023.
After the first round Wanganui East were leading 2-1. After the second round it was even 3-3. Wanganui East won the third round 2-1 which gave them an overall lead of 5-4.
Wanganui East's first defence is against Silverstream at their home turf.
A field of 56 entries, 31 from other clubs, enjoyed the Wanganui East Mêlée on Saturday 19 August 2023. Five games of 45 minutes plus one end were played, changing partners after each game.
Prizes were presented to the top 10 placings.
