Jacques Cochonnet Trophy Challenge

Upper Hutt's fifth defence was away against Naenae on Sunday, 4th August 2024. They easily retained the Jacques Cochonnet Trophy.
Their singles and doubles teams completed a clean sweep on the day.
Naenae's triples team showed stout resistance in the morning games, but after lunch the visitors were unbeaten.
The day ended with Upper Hutt winning seven of the nine games played and proved themselves worthy holders of the challenge trophy.

Silverstream Pétanque Club Open Mixed Triples

The Silverstream Fundraising Mixed Triples were held at Silverstream on Saturday 10th August. Although rain was forecast it stayed away. A sunny day helped to add to a most enjoyable event. A big thank you to all the participants for their support and generosity.
Wanganui East Mêlée

There were 52 entries in the Wanganui East Mêlée on Saturday 17th August 2024. The weather was good until the prize giving when rain started. Thank you to all who entered.
The winner was Alan Frost and runner up Lee-Ann Bartrum.
